Bangladesh says contract with Adani could be scrapped in case of irregularities or corruption

Bangladesh’s interim government is reviewing power contracts signed under the previous regime. An adviser stated that the Adani Group power deal could be cancelled if corruption is proven. A review committee has already found “massive governance failure” and “massive corruption” in the energy sector. The committee’s final report is expected in January.
