India panel urges faster nuclear approvals, fuel security to meet 100 GW goal

A government panel has urged India to accelerate nuclear project timelines, secure long-term uranium supplies, and expand reprocessing capacity to meet its ambitious 100 GW nuclear target by 2047. Recommendations include faster approvals, domestic and foreign uranium sourcing, and utilizing advanced foreign reactor designs alongside indigenous ones.
